    Method:

    Add flour, vegetable shortening, butter and salt into a food processor or mixing bowl. Mix together until it becomes the consistency of peas. Combine ice water and vinegar together and then add that to the mixture. Continue mixing until mixture starts to come together and becomes somewhat lumpy. You may need to add a few more Tablespoons of water to achieve this.

    Put mixture onto a clean counter top and form it into a disc by hand. Wrap in saran wrap and put in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to a half hour.
