Apples Over Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • 3 large Granny Smith apples
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup brown beer
  • Vanilla bean ice cream

Method:

Peel and slice the apples and place in a hot sauté pan with the sugar. When the sugar turns a caramel color add the beer. Cook down to a thick paste, about 6-8 minutes. Spoon over the ice cream and serve.
