Braised Cabbage

Ingredients:

  • 1 head red cabbage
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup cider vinegar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • cloves
  • 1 Tbsp. Ground cinnamon

Method:

Core and shred one head of red cabbage, cook in a braising pan over medium heat. Add one cup of applesauce, one cup of cider vinegar, one half cup of sugar, a dash of ground glove and one tablespoon of ground cinnamon. Cook until cabbage is tender.
