Fried Plantains (Dodo)

  • 2 yellow firm Plantain
  • Cooking oil enough for deep frying


Slit plantain skin length wise with point of a sharp knife. Then remove the skin.
Slice the plantain diagonally about 1/4 inch thick.
Heat oil in a skillet and fry the plantains on both sides until they are golden brown, (or fry plantain in a deep fryer).
Serve as an appetizer, dessert, snack, or a side dish.
