Sandy Thomas has been active in the field of energy issues since 1995, working for the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA), a non-profit organization. She created and managed the Greenfield Energy Park in 1999 to educate consumers about renewable energy.
Since 2004, Sandy was also the Director of the biggest conference and trade show in the northeast for professionals in the field of clean energy and green buildings: BuildingEnergy.
Trained as a registered nurse, she worked in pediatric ICU for five years while in North Carolina before raising a family. Sandy served four years as national President of CH.A.D.D., an organization to help those with Attention Deficit Disorders. Sandy is active in her community serving on the Greenfield Energy Committee and in myriad volunteer town initiatives.
