Emily Dickinson Homestead
280 Main Street, Amherst MA
Dickinson was born in this brick house on Main Street in Amherst
in 1830, lived there all her life, and died there in 1886. One of
American's pre-eminent poets, Dickinson wrote over 1800 poems and
letters. The homestead that inspired this great poet, is the inspiration
for this week's episode of Reflections Through Watercolor. Viewers
will learn from watercolorist Susan Tilton Pecora how to approach
a big structure and not be intimidated by its size.
