Painting was created in my studio after doing a few sketches on location.

Image is of a little fishing village on Martha's Vineyard

"I fell in love with this location because it is truly one of the only working class locations left on the Vineyard. It was mid to late afternoon and I really liked how the sun or I should say the pink sky was reflecting in the water bellow. I took a couple of photos and did a couple of sketches before I lost that image (pink sky) for the day."
