"This is a great location and one that I go back to several different times through out the year and at different times of the day. Painting a subject matter during different conditions is a great way to familiarize yourself with how nature can affect an image and what times of the year or day, you want to capture your subject matters in most."

"The summer image I wanted to paint big because it was just so beautiful and I didn't want to reduce the magnitude of the tree."
