This week I'm very excited about the premiere of the latest entry in our weekend line-up of cooking shows - José Made in Spain. In each 30-minute episode award-winning chef José Andrés will provide a gastronomic and cultural tour of one of Spain’s 17 vibrant regions, drawing on his larger-than-life personality and unparalleled expertise about Spain. Visiting the source and inspiration of the dishes he prepares in his own kitchen, Andrés will demonstrate that the flavors made in Spain can be created at here at home. One of his dreams – "to soon see a paella pan on every backyard grill in America!"

Feedback
A member from Easthampton wrote, Thank you especially for broadcasting (and frequently rebroadcasting overnight) public affairs programs including, in order of importance to me, Newshour, Frontline, Bill Moyers Journal, P.O.V., Wide Angle, Washington Week, NOW, Charlie Rose, and Foreign Exchange. I also especially enjoy arts programs such as Great Performances and American Masters as well as those rather rare occasions when you broadcast opera. A now retired history teacher, I have long appreciated the excellent quality of the occasional Ken Burns documentary as well as the regular American Experience series. Would that there were a comparable series focusing on historical episodes global as well as national, non-western (Asia, Africa, and Latin America) as well as western (Europe and the United States).
