Podcasting is a way of publishing broadcasts via the Internet.
Video broadcasts are often called VODcasts.
Specifically, podcasts are feeds (such as RSS feeds) that contain
digital audio and video files, such as MP3 files.
How to watch or listen:
Podcasting software allows your computer to automatically check for new files and download them once they are posted. Then you can either listen/view to the programs on your computer or have them downloaded to your portable media player.
Once you have installed the software, follow the instructions to "subscribe" to our podcasts. Usually this involves copying and pasting the podcast URL found in the address box, into your podcasting application.
