Beth Ward hosts As Schools Match Wits, which returns to WGBY for its 53rd season.Open to both public and private high school students throughout western Massachusetts, northern Connecticut and southern Vermont, ASMW is the longest-running show of its kind in the nation. Each season 50 schools go head-to-head in qualifying matches to see which team can earnthe most points. The eight highest-scoring teams then compete in playoff matches to determinethe season's champion.
