Apple Crisp

  • 8-10 medium size local apples of your choice
  • ¾ cup all purpose flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 stick cold, unsalted butter


To prepare the topping, mix all ingredients except apples with a blender, integrating the cold butter.

Peel, core and slice apples. Place the apples into a 9 x 13 baking pan and cover with mixed topping.
Bake at 375 until brown on top, about 20 minutes. Serves 10.
