The WGBY Chef’s Spearit Lunch is a multicourse dining experience with asparagus-themed dishes from five popular Pioneer Valley chefs. In a private outdoor tent adjacent to the WGBY Asparagus Festival, you will sit down and dine on a menu “spearheaded” by the culinary talents of local foodies.

The 2017 WGBY Chefs' Spearit Lunch participants included:

Each course featured paired wines from State Street Wines and Spirits (Northampton). The cocktail reception featured local artisinal malts from Valley Malt (Hadley). Dessert was provided by UMass Dining's Yum! Bakery, using Flayvors of Cook Farm's special "Hadley Grass" ice cream.

The 2017 WGBY Chefs' Spearit Lunch was sponsored by Whole Foods Market in Hadley. Service was coordinated by Betse Curtis.

Proceeds benefited WGBY and public television in western New England.
