There's more than one way to construct a quilt block. On this episode, Angela Huffman joins Sara Gallegos to explore the different methods for constructing a classic quilt block called Mother's Choice. Build the block using fussy-cutting, cornerstones, triangle-squares, stitch-and-flip piecing, or mitered corners. Learn why you might pick one technique over another for this skillbuilder quilt block.

Quilters collect fabrics that "speak" to them. Marianne loves to collect reproduction prints and tiny shirting prints. When combined they create a soothing, classic quilt. Inspired by a house quest from New Hampshire the quilt was sashed with stars from the night sky.
