This week on Simply Ming, uber-chef Carla Hall, co-host of the Emmy Award-winning television show The Chew, stops by to give a fresh take on a shrimp classic. Pulling from her Southern roots, chef Hall creates a delicious sea island shrimp with grits while Ming cooks up a shrimp and squash grit tempura. One ingredient, two dishes, right here on Simply Ming!

It's all about Team USA for the Bocuse d'Or competition this week as Ming gives a toast to Per Se's Executive Sous Chef, Mathew Peters, for winning the 2017 gold medal. Matt cooks a new version of his winning chicken and crayfish, and Ming complements it with a surf-and-turf dark chicken and shrimp stir fry with snap peas and 3-2-1 Sauce.

Tuna is on the grill this week on Simply Ming! Matt Jennings, four-time James Beard nominee, joins Ming around the barbeque to feast on this highly sustainable fish. While Matt makes a decadent strawberry salsa rresca for his grilled fish, Ming creates a lightly seared tuna tataki that is paired with a refreshing lemongrass gremolata.

This week on Simply Ming, he is joined by Portsmouth, N.H., chef Matt Louis from the restaurant Moxy, known for its Spanish-style tapas using seasonal New England ingredients and his newly opened Franklin Oyster House. Today, Matt cooks up goat meatballs with garlic mustard pesto, local farm feta and sunchoke chips, while Meg whips up surf-n-turf meatballs with his favorite Blue Dragon vinegar fries.

Everyone's favorite party dish gets a new twist! Michael Scelfo, owner and chef of Alden & Harlow, named one of the best new restaurants by Bon Appetit, joins Ming to make three game-changing hummus dishes. Using butternut squash, curry and edamame, they're creating dishes that are delicious and healthy, this week on Simply Ming!
