A Goat for a Vote follows three students in Kenya competing to become the next school president. Winning the election will not only earn them power and respect, but guarantees a role within Kenyan society in the future. Magdalene has to prove herself in a boy-dominated school which has never been led by a girl. She has the impossible task to unite all girls in her fight for equal rights. Harry, from the poor side of town, hopes to win so he will be able to take care of his family in the future. In the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of northwest Pakistan, the KPK Bomb Disposal Unit is single handedly trying to stop the region from falling into the hands of terrorists from Afghanistan and surrounding tribal lands. With little special equipment, working with "faith and passion alone," the men of this unit defuse a majority of terrorist-planted bombs in the country. Armed with Faith follows three men of the K.P.K. unit who put their lives at risk for the people of their country. The film follows two bomb technicians and their commander as they defend their homeland.

Retired NBC Universal executive Paula Williams Madison and her brothers, Elrick and Howard Williams, were raised in Harlem by their Chinese Jamaican mother, Nell Vera Lowe. Nell encouraged them to realize the rags-to-riches American dream, resulting in their growth from welfare recipients to wealthy entrepreneurs. In order to fulfill a promise to their mother to connect to her estranged father's people, they embark on a journey to uncover their ancestral roots. The three travel to the Toronto Hakka Chinese Conference where they connect to members of the Chinese Jamaican community.

A couple of dancers appear one morning in a High School. It's Monday and they announce to a group of youngsters that they have five days to get up on stage and dance. A short time but a big challenge. The dance compels these youngsters to break through their roles exactly at the time of their lives when the social roles are being forged. The handsome boy is no longer the most admired, the timid one takes a step forward. Wilfried van Popple and Amaya Lubeigt are the choreographers. Professional dancers who have decided now to work with people who have never danced before.

Kayak Man - On January 11, 2007, Andrew McAuley set out to become the first sea-kayaker to cross the Tasman Sea. Leaving his wife and young son behind, he attempts to travel from Australia and New Zealand on one of the most wild, lonely and dangerous stretches of ocean. On February 9, New Zealand maritime authorities receive a distress call. Will Andrew McAuley's unshakable need to conquer the unknown ultimately cost him his life?
