The LES is on a roll and nowhere is this more obvious than the frenetic food scene on Clinton St. We'll tour Sushi Ko, Seoul Wings, Ivan ramen, the Black Crescent bar, Azasu Izakaya and Thelma on Clinton.

Back in 2011 the husband and wife team Hugue Dufour and Sarah Obraitis owner the wildly popular but short lived M Well Dinette In Long Island City. Now they're back with the new M Wells Steakhouse and M Wells Dinette as PS1 again in Long Island City. We'll spend the day touring both and getting their story for this episode.

Eric Kayser a fourth generation French Baker opened his first shop in Paris in 1996. Today he has over 100 shops worldwide, his first US location opened on the Upper East Side in 2012. With 10 stores now in Manhattan we'll spend a day with him at his Union Square shop. We'll end this show with a visit to a Verre de Terre a restaurant on 14th St., serving great fried chicken paired with an all natural wine list put together by Eben Lillie.

A brand new youth driven Deli scene is taking hold in NYC. We'll visit Baz bagels on Grand St., Black Seed Bagels on Elizabeth, Montreal Style Mile End Deli, the new Russ & Daughters Cafe on Orchard St., plus we'll meet the team behind Gefilteria that make artisanal gefilte fish and pickles.

For lovers of ice cream there has never been a better time. In one action packed day Mike tours Victory Garden frozen yogurt, The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck, Dave's, Morgenstern's, A.B. Biagi Gelato, Gelato Ti Amo and Melt Bakery Ice Cream sandwiches.

In our first season back in 2000 we covered Well's Famous in Harlem the place where Chicken and Waffles was invented up north. Well chicken and waffles are back big time as we tour three places, all downtown putting out excellent versions of fried chicken, waffles, biscuits doughnuts, pies and other southern specialties.
